About Ghost Dog Island
Moving is nothing new for ten-year-old Nikki Landry. Her
fisherman father relocates their raggedy old houseboat several times a year in
search of better crab fishing spots. However, their latest move has brought her
to a mysterious bayou, where she feels like something is watching her from a
nearby island. But when Papa tells her about a local legend that something
sinister might be living nearby and stealing the souls of dogs, she fears for
her beloved beagle’s life. Join Nikki as she seeks to discover the truth behind
the legend…before it’s too late.

Fantastic cover! It makes me want to buy the book and dive right into it. Kelly is nothing short of a miracle worker. We are so lucky to have her designing (and asking for our suggestions--something that just doesn't happen in NY with the "big" publishers)our book covers and any and all promo material. This one should sell plenty of books!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan. Just got back from a trip down to Mobile, Alabama to see my new great grandbaby...so getting to this post late. She was beautiful by the way. Yes, Kelly is a miracle worker. I worried about finding a suitable picture to send her to give her an idea what I wanted. But she came up with something beyond my imagination. Couldn't be happier!
DeleteWow, that cover is fantastic! And the blurb, chilling. I'd be out to save my dog, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, Amaleen! I hope my readers enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Cheers.
